Non me lo sarei mai aspettato!Nel senso che proprio NO, ma proprio NIENTE avrebbe fatto lontanamente pensare al colpevole di turno di quest’ultimo e conclusivo libro della trilogia di Annie & Claudius. Il finale è così artefatto che avrebbero potuto metterci chiunque, tanto che del colpevole non si aveva avuto il minimo indizio. Romanzo molto, molto dispersivo, tra una quotidianità fatta di eventi senza direzione, in cui succedono cose. Non fosse che è un giallo, poteva facilmente essere una lunga puntata di “Seinfeld”, dove la coppia Annie & Claudius rappresenta l’unica rappresentanza umoristica. Per il resto, si torna ad un cast interamente di contorno, tutte comparse (per lo spessore che hanno), tanto fumo e niente pathos. Non so cosa ne sia stato di Ms. Campbell, ma ho il sospetto che alla fine non vendesse abbastanza da giustificare un rinnovo del contratto… | | | |
